During my first appointment with Mr. Chana about a Total Knee Replacement he swiftly diagnosed that the additional pains in my thigh were due to bursitis and organised an ultra scan guided injection which to my joy brought fast relief. The knee operation went very smoothly and at my six week review Mr. Chana was very pleased with how well I was able to walk and able to bend my knee to 110 degrees. He kindly removed all the staples at that session to save us an extra hospital visit to a nurse on the following day. We have already recommended Mr. Chana to a friend and assured her of his expertise and his friendly and courteous manner.

After an initial misdiagnosis by the GP (saying I had arthritis), a year down the road Mr Chana did a hip arthroscopy to repair a tear and smooth the head of the femur. It was a long recovery but the surgery was an success and he did an excellent job. 9 months later, I am pain free and no longer even think of my hip. His team in the orthopaedic ward at the Ashford did a great job looking after me post op too. belated thank you!
